Is this RTI Scheduler an approved student records system?
This independent website at rtischeduler.com.co is a personal planning tool developed by Raza Mehdi. It is separate from the school platform at rtischeduler.com.
No school agreement or approved student records arrangement has been established for this tool. Do not use it to store student education records or treat this page as a FERPA compliance certification.

What is FERPA and who has rights under it?
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, known as FERPA, protects the privacy of student education records. It gives parents rights to inspect records, seek amendments, and exercise some control over disclosures.
These rights transfer to the student when the student turns 18 or attends a postsecondary institution at any age. For details about rights in your school’s records, contact the school.
How can an educator use this tool for personal planning?
Plan general activities such as Prepare reading cards or Math practice group. Choose a date, time, and priority without adding student names, grades, diagnoses, attendance, or other confidential details.
Your school’s approved systems should hold student records and decisions about support. A personal task list does not replace those systems.

Does this website act as a school official under FERPA?
This website does not claim an established school official arrangement with your school. Using the tool or creating an account does not by itself establish permission to disclose education records.
No district workspace, school administered permissions, education record audit service, or school data processing agreement is offered by the current personal scheduling tool.
What happens to the tasks I enter?
Guest tasks stay in local storage in the browser where you create them. When you sign in, the tool attempts to transfer them to your account. Account tasks are saved in the website’s WordPress database.
A task can contain personal information if you enter it in a name or optional detail. Hosting encryption, backup retention, and security monitoring have not been confirmed. Keep confidential student information out of these fields.

Who should I contact about student information entered here?
For rights concerning records maintained by your school, contact the school. For information submitted to this independent website, contact Raza Mehdi directly at rtischeduler7@gmail.com.
Explain the concern and provide the relevant account email or page so the information can be located. Do not send passwords or copies of confidential student records. Verification may be needed before information is reviewed or removed.

Can I remove a task or request account deletion?
Delete a task through its options in the scheduler. For guest tasks, you can also clear this website’s local storage in your browser. Clearing browser data does not delete tasks already saved to an account.
Contact the owner for account deletion requests or questions about backup copies. Backup retention periods have not been confirmed, so immediate removal from every copy is not promised.
How will this student privacy notice change?
This notice will be revised if the intended use or information practices change. Any future school service would need a separate review of agreements, access controls, data use, retention, and other applicable requirements before student records are accepted.

Who can answer a question about student privacy?
Contact Raza Mehdi with a question about this website’s personal planning scope or information submitted here.
