Which website does this Cookie Policy cover?

This policy covers the independent RTI Scheduler website at rtischeduler.com.co, managed by Raza Mehdi. It explains the cookies and browser storage used by the personal scheduling tool and the choices available to you.

What is the difference between cookies and local storage?

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser and sent with relevant website requests. They can help a website recognize a signed in user. Local storage keeps information in a browser for a website to use and is not automatically sent with every request.

Pixels and similar technologies can also send information to services when a page loads or an action occurs. Their use depends on the services enabled on a website.

Why does RTI Scheduler use login cookies?

The account feature uses WordPress authentication cookies to recognize you after you sign in. Blocking or deleting these cookies can prevent you from staying signed in. WordPress may also use a temporary test cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies.

The exact cookie names and lifetimes depend on the WordPress installation and login settings. They are separate from the task information saved in your account database.

Where are guest tasks stored?

When you use the scheduling tool without an account, tasks are saved in your browser’s local storage under the key rti_guest_tasks_v1. This storage keeps the task name, date, time, priority, optional detail, and task identifier in that browser.

Guest storage does not have an expiry set by the tool. It can remain until the website removes it or you clear the browser’s website data. Browser settings, private browsing, and storage limits can also affect it.

When you sign in or register, the tool attempts to transfer guest tasks into your account. Clearing guest storage does not delete tasks already saved to your account. Signing out does not delete your account schedule.

Will Google Analytics or AdSense be used?

Google Analytics and Google AdSense are possible future additions to RTI Scheduler. Before adding either service, we will review how it collects information, update the relevant notices, and provide the privacy choices required for that setup.

Google Analytics can help measure visits and interactions. AdSense can use cookies and related technologies to deliver and measure advertising. The information collected and choices available depend on the actual setup.

Can other website services set cookies?

A WordPress theme, plugin, embedded content, hosting service, or security service may use additional cookies or storage. For current provider details, cookie names, or storage durations, contact Raza Mehdi before creating an account if you need this information.

The scheduler does not have a language or display preference cookie of its own. Cookies used by other website services may change when those services are updated.

How can I manage cookies and stored tasks?

Use your browser’s privacy settings to review, block, or delete cookies and website data for rtischeduler.com.co. Clearing all website data may remove your guest schedule and sign you out. Consider saving important task details before clearing browser storage.

To remove an account task, use its delete option in the scheduler. For an account information or deletion request, email the owner. Browser cookie controls do not remove account information from the website database.

The scheduler currently uses browser storage for guest tasks and WordPress cookies for account sessions. If optional tracking is introduced, we will provide the relevant choices before enabling it where consent is required.

Do Not Track and other browser privacy signals are different from blocking storage in your browser. The scheduler does not have a dedicated control for these signals. To ask how a particular browser privacy setting affects another website service, contact the owner.

How will this Cookie Policy change?

When confirmed storage practices or website services change, the policy will be updated with a revised date. Review the Privacy Policy for information about account tasks, support messages, and deletion requests.
